This is a great app that can be used alone but I find works better when used in conjunction with following the UFYL website, Facebook, or tumblr feed. I get inspiration from the posts and then use this app to clean my own house. Its very straight forward and doesnt glitch. It follows the method of working for a few minutes then taking a break so you dont burn out. It also lists all those common tasks wed like to "forget" existed and reminds us that "hey that toilet aint going to scrub itself! To the one star review- its an app to act as a timer/motivator for housecleaning. Who honestly cares about if the layout has pretty colors!?! Also the description of this app is VERY clear about the language used and honestly its not that bad. Ive overheard worse leaving church service. Its not an app for children anyway!

Im a foul mouthed sailor momma and I love this app!!! ! If you like Flylady but cant tolerate the syrupy sweetness of "Housework done incorrectly still blesses your family" then try this app. Youll f@$&ing love it too! That goody two shoes Flylady always made me feel bad because I dont call my children Dear Daughter or Dear Son. I dont go around cussing my kids out loud, but I certainly do in my head! :D Seriously, try this app, even if you dont get your house clean youll at least be thinking bout cleaning, and admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery!

Amazing, life-changing app. I never knew I could keep my home so clean before UFYH.

I dont need something complicated. I needed something to give me a start and an end; tell me when I finish my 20 mins of cleaning, then tell me when my 10 min break is up so I feel rested when I start cleaning again. The only frills is challenges, and a way to create a to-do list, but thats all thats wanted and needed. It works wonderfully with both iTunes and Podcasts on my iPhone while I work, a nice *gentle* fanfare overlays the sound for a couple secs, alerting me to time being up. And its easy to switch once done from work to break, and then break back to work.

Whats not to love? UfYH is a great concept and the app is a helpful tool.

Im a habitual clutterer, and this app (and the tumblr) has helped me overcome some of those issues.

This app is very helpful. I like the clean interface and the random unfilther tasks. The timer is great--I use it to help me get non-unfilthing tasks done, too.

This app and the accompanying website changed my life. No really. Even my children will help with the cleaning and all-around unfilthing of our habitat with the magic of 20-10s. Really, it works. And yes, this app contains the F-word. Duh. Its made pretty clear in the description of the app and the tumblr page. If you have a problem with profanity, then this isnt the app for you. Get over it and go see the Fly Lady. But if you have a sense of humor and can stop clutching your pearls long enough to set off a drain volcano in your bathroom, you can have a home that is not only company-ready, but is you-ready. Because you deserve it. I love that the developer had added new challenges. This isnt a one-and-done app. WORTH EVERY PENNY.

If youre familiar with UfYH on tumblr, you wont be disappointed and if you arent familiar with it, go make yourself acquainted. This app gives me the motivation I need to keep my apartment clean. I make a list in the app of things I need to clean and go from there or go with the random challenges if Im not sure where to start. The 20/10 keeps it all from being overwhelming.

This is a great app! As someone with ADD and who lives in "organized chaos", this app makes my life a hell of a lot easier. I love it!! Highly recommended.

I have followed the UfYH Tumblr for a while and this app is the perfect addition to the system. I can set up lists of things that need to be done and it will pick for me - no more excuses for not knowing where to start! None of the tips require you get extra tools or furniture to organize your space - it pushes you to use what you have and remove what you dont use. Has helped me immensely. There is a heads up about the language used in the info about the app-read before you buy, rather than complaining after the fact!

I love UFYH, followed the Tumblr forever and am now in the process of spring cleaning my house. This app is a gift and more importantly, with the timer fixed, it keeps me on task. As for anyone who came on here to beef about grandma apps, your grandma would probably not approve of your disgusting trolling. Delete the app, delete your attitude. What a jerk.

I love this app because I can make my own goals, but it also provides helpful suggestions for me if I only have a short amount of time or want to do /something/ but am not sure what. I use this app every week and it has helped me immensely in managing my messes and reducing stress.

UfYH is a life changing experience! The blog side of this app started teaching me great habits, but until the app came out, it was still up to me to actually find a timer and set the task. With the app, I can get a random challenge, set a 20/10 timer with one tap, make lists of things that need to be accomplished in the next 20/10. Since some people seem confused by the concept of UfYH, there is indeed cursing involved. It’s perfectly well advertised and you must confirm that you’re okay with that before you download it. Please use your good judgment!

It might seem weird to call an app about cleaning fun, but this app is. It has features to motivate you and help you get organized, but it keeps things simple, and “talks” to you like your friend or sister would. Fixes and updates in this version are great (20/10 timer fixed - it’s my fav) and recurring tasks. I live on recurring tasks at work, so this will be great for home.
