If traditional housekeeping isn’t really your style, but your living space needs a little attention, UfYH’s challenges and customizable features will help you get your place back in shape, a few minutes at a time. Rather than encourage marathon cleaning sessions, UfYH gives you the tools to clean up, a little at a time. Unf&%*ing your habitat turns dreaded chores into easy-to-complete tasks, with a hefty dose of “filthy” language to motivate you to clean up.
-Clean and simple easy-to-use interface.
-Select timed challenges in 5, 10, or 20 minute intervals and try to beat the clock to finish the challenge.
-Select challenges by room.
-Create a customized to-do list and reminders to keep you on schedule.
-Earn achievements for completing challenges or finishing your to-do list.
-Use the 20/10 timer to reward yourself with a 10-minute break for every 20 minutes of work. Shorter challenges count cumulatively toward your total time.
-Random motivators remind you that excuses are boring and use a combination of a little guilt, a little shame, and a little swearing to get you moving.
UfYH is especially useful for those who don’t have a lot of spare time to devote to cleaning: students, people with full-time jobs, people with roommates, anyone who can’t find the motivation to get up and just do something. I am so grateful for this app, to me this is a life changer.
Its very easy to use.
To have the possibility to chose either a room, or a challenge, or just the 20/10 timer, means that I can do as much or as little as I can each day.
No more cleaning marathon, just a daily bit of ufyh <3.
This app gives that extra little push to all of us busy people who have a hard time carving out the extra time to keep our lives clean and uncluttered (and really, who doesnt identify with that). With quick and easy challenges and a dose of humourous "filthy" language to give you that extra bit of motivation UfYH makes it easy to keep your life and your living space in order. Ive been following the blog for months and am so happy to have a portable version thats consistent with my timezone to make completing the challenges even easier. This app is great!
This app has really helped me with time management and organization. And its super entertaining, too.
This ap is great for when you dont know where to start or have limited time but think you should clean SOMETHING. I just did a quick kitchen challenge waiting for dinner to finish cooking. I am now irrationally proud of myself, dancing around my clean countertops and telling my friends!
This is a GREAT app. In a busy student house its helped me keep track of what I have to do in the house and gives me the motivation to make my bed... My mother would appreciate it.
Id recommend this if you cant seem to find the motivation to Unfilth Your Habitat on your own, this app will help! Nothing like seeing results and getting terrifying motivation to help you achieve them.
This is awesome! A lot of fun to play with and I like being "yelled" at by the random motivators :)
Some bad moments
I did not realize that filth would turn to the other f word once I downloaded it. I have kids who use my phone! You should also make a clean version.
I love this app. Super useful and motivating. I love the humor and it always gets me off my butt. Worth the money!

This is a great app that can be used alone but I find works better when used in conjunction with following the UFYL website, Facebook, or tumblr feed. I get inspiration from the posts and then use this app to clean my own house. Its very straight forward and doesnt glitch. It follows the method of working for a few minutes then taking a break so you dont burn out. It also lists all those common tasks wed like to "forget" existed and reminds us that "hey that toilet aint going to scrub itself!
To the one star review- its an app to act as a timer/motivator for housecleaning. Who honestly cares about if the layout has pretty colors!?!
Also the description of this app is VERY clear about the language used and honestly its not that bad. Ive overheard worse leaving church service. Its not an app for children anyway!

That goody two shoes Flylady always made me feel bad because I dont call my children Dear Daughter or Dear Son. I dont go around cussing my kids out loud, but I certainly do in my head! :D
Seriously, try this app, even if you dont get your house clean youll at least be thinking bout cleaning, and admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery!
